Prof. Prabhakar Tiwari, invites applications for two fully funded Ph.D. positions in cosmology. The research will focus on the analysis and theoretical interpretation of large-scale structure data from galaxy surveys, with particular emphasis on radio galaxy catalogs. The positions are not telescope- or instrumentation-oriented; instead, students will work at the interface of data analysis, cosmological modeling, and theory-driven inference. Key projects include close collaboration with the LOFAR Cosmology Group and leadership roles in studies based on upcoming releases of the LOFAR Two-metre Sky Survey (LoTSS). Students will also participate in cosmology programs connected to the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) survey, with an emphasis on extracting cosmological constraints rather than survey operations. Successful candidates are expected to develop a strong working knowledge of cosmological theory, statistical methods, and large data sets. A solid background in physics and mathematics, and an interest in connecting data to fundamental cosmological questions, are essential. These positions offer training in modern cosmological data analysis within an internationally connected research environment, with opportunities to make original contributions to high-impact survey-based cosmology.
